Consume me, Love

Like a hostile foe
You sneak up on me in tigerprinted clothes.
You tear me up whole.
Consume me love,
This is how I’ll go.
Your saberfanged teeth
Pierce right through like the thinnest of sheets.
Please continue, I whisper.
As your scent, the sweetest of sweets.
Pours all over my astonished figure.
Don’t leave, I beg.
Too late I was, for the moon was tired
And needed to sleep.
Half consumed you disappeared entirely.
You left me waiting,
For the moon to wake early.
